This project involved a retail unit where we had to create a second entrance in the front façade to access the new residential units overhead. We also carried out significant internal structural works and installed a new internal staircase for the building. We then refurbished and decorated the external façade. As this unit was located in a conservation area on the High street in Canterbury, we had to ensure that the final works would preserve the character of the existing building and fit in with the surrounding listed buildings.
